Grandparents Day 2017
NSW Grandparents Day celebrates the role grandparents and older people play in our society – both the things they have done, and the things they keep doing. It\'s a day to spend time with an older loved one and connect across the generations. The students and staff at Rozelle Public School would like to invite our grandparents to celebrate this special day by attending a special assembly hosted by Monteverde on Friday 27 October commencing at 9:15am. Following the assembly, grandparents are invited to visit their grandchild’s class to share morning tea and visit the Grandparents Book Fair in the school library.

KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION/ ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Our incoming 2018 Kindergarten cohort will be attending school this week for their first of three transition sessions. Registration commences at 9:15am on Wednesday 18 October outside the school hall facing the asphalt area.
The information session and activities will commence at 9.30am and parents, carers and students are invited to assemble in the school hall at this time.
The next two sessions will take place on Wednesday 25th October and Wednesday 1st November.

2018-2020 SCHOOL PLAN – PARENT CONSULTATION
Rozelle Public School has an exciting opportunity for you to be part of its future. We are beginning work on our 2018-2020 School Plan. We want to strengthen the participation of parents, students and staff in consultative evaluation, planning and decision-making to make sure the plan is based on the needs of all members of our school community.
The parent groups will run for a little over one hour and refreshments will be provided. They will be relaxed and give you the opportunity to raise and discuss issues that are important to you. The discussion will be confidential and reported back at a group level only (responses will not be associated with individuals). Each group will have approximately eight participants.
