A LEARNING COMMUNITY
The school provides a balanced and broad curriculum in order to nurture and challenge students to achieve individual excellence. We differentiate the curriculum to meet students’ individual learning needs in all Key Learning Areas and provide a range of specialist programs to support and extend student learning, including Visual Arts, French, Library and ESL (English as a Second Language). Students experiencing learning difficulties are supported through the Reading Recovery program and Support Teacher Learning Assistance.
The school is further developing its Information and Communication Technology resources to enhance student learning in all areas. Our newly updated Library is a popular space with students during lunchtimes and our updated Technology Lab features flexible format furniture, enabling students to use the laptops in a variety of grouping structures. We have an on-site Departmental Preschool catering for forty students in a three day and a two day program each week.
